From elegant service awards banquets at the Ritz-Carlton to extraordinary, themed "warehouse" parties to celebrate project completions, events at Imagineering didn't lack for imagination. (It's no small task to wow an audience that's in the business of wowing audiences.) But contrary to what many think, we did work within tight budgets for these internal, employee events. I worked with Special Events teams on communications (collateral, signage, giveaways, program, audio/video) or served as overall event lead at Disney and L.A. Parent magazine. At Disney press events, I served as an interview subject (mostly for Spanish-language media) and on the event production team. At L.A. Parent, I was interviewed on family travel and toys.
